Best bang for your buck for DIM
I did lots of research on amazon, and after spending hours figuring out which supplement came with the most milligrams of DIM for the cheapest price, I ended up ordering this one. I actually don’t take a whole one each night. I open the capsule, and pour half of one into my mouth WITH WATER IN MY MOUTH. Make sure you have water in your mouth when you do this, otherwise you will burn your nasal cavity in your mouth, or might inhale it!This has significantly changed my life. My skin was covered with cystic acne – the kind that doesn’t come to the surface, and just causes swelling, bumps, and pain on your face. It was mainly on my skin and along my jaw. Since I started taking this, my acne has become regular acne, meaning it comes to a head and clears up within a short time-period, and my overall acne has significantly improved. I took it for several months, and experiences great benefits from it, from my skin, to my overall mood and happiness. I have since gotten prescribed Tretinoin to apply topically to my face for acne, but I still plan on taking this for all the reasons I have already listed. It turns your pee reddish-orange, but don’t worry! That just means it is working to breakdown the negative estrogenic compounds in your body.Note: This supplement should really only be taken at night, because it can give you an upset stomach when you first start taking it, if you are digesting it while you are awake. Also, I really do not recommend taking the whole capsule, because it is just too strong! I have built up my tolerance, and now can take the entire contents of a pill if I feel extremely hormonal, but when I first started taking this and I did that, I would get the chills, my stomach would cramp up, and I would curl up in a ball on my bed, waiting for the pain the pass. Now I have no issues at all, but I am very used to it. It still makes me tired, however, so that is one more reason to take it before bed.

Great product
I was introduced to DIM 4 years ago by a very young esthetician. I was desperate for treatment for hormonal acne. I was 38 yrs old having skin problems like I was a teen going through puberty! It was painful and embarrassing. My hormones were so out of whack. I tried skin creams, regimens, peels, and anything else I could topically. The doctors didn’t help with their prescriptions of other topicals, different birth controls, and other meds with some dreadful side effects. It was maddening and nothing worked. I had gone to get another peel on my face when this young lady looked at my skin and said I had hormonal acne. She asked what I had done to treat it and I said EVERYTHING! She told me to try taking DIM. I had never heard of it, but I was anxious to try it, especially since it’s a natural supplement and had to be better than all the crap the doctors were giving me. She told me I probably wouldn’t need the medications anymore! I went home and ordered it immediately. It took 3-4 weeks to notice a difference, but my skin started clearing up and I noticed a drastic change to my pms symptoms and period. Nearly all of my pms symptoms subsided… like no more emotional roller coasters, no more days of being physically and mentally exhausted before I’d start, and hardly any cramps!! I was in love. I’ve never had one product make such a dramatic improvement to my body. I have taken DIM ever since and I tell every woman I can about it when they start mentioning hormone issues. I wondered earlier this year if I needed it anymore so I got off of it for a month, and that was a mistake. The acne started coming back and I didn’t feel right anymore. My body needs the ingredients in the supplement and I’ll be on it for the rest of my life if I have to. I’m not a fan of pharmaceuticals anyway, but I am a fan of natural products that better my wellness. Highly recommend giving it a try if you haven’t already. I’ve tried multiple DIM brands and doses, and I haven’t found a bad one yet. I do recommend starting with the lower doses to try it if you’ve never had it, then work your way up as you feel comfortable with. I hope it works for you as much as it does for me. I’ll never let the doctors play with my hormones again. I’m not an experiment, and drugs are bad, mmmmk. 😉

More than an estrogen regulator
UPDATE: I still take this specific brand everyday, years later, and my skin is in the best shape it has been in the past 15 years. It’s not perfect, but a work in progress as anyone knows when it comes to maintaining healthy skin. I will strongly say this is not a miracle on its own, I have found a diet and skin regimen that works for me in combination with this product. However, I would encourage giving this a shot and see if it helps you too.FIRST REVIEW: I stopped taking biotin after years of use once I heard it can exacerbate acne which I have struggled with for over a decade, when it’s actually assumed to do the opposite. Completely unrelated, I was also following the recommendation that women take DIM daily for estrogen regulation and coincidentally, it just so happens to help with hormonal acne so I was glad I might be able to kill two birds with one stone.Flash forward to a couple of weeks of use, I had realized that I have been touching my face a lot lately which I try to avoid to keep my cystic acne under control. After days of waiting for the inevitable to happen, I was wondering why I hadn’t had a breakout yet and couldn’t understand what was different until I remembered the secondary benefit of DIM. It’s still very early for me and I can’t guarantee this is a cure-all yet, but so far I’m very impressed and plan to take DIM for the foreseeable future. I also chose this specific brand after carefully comparing ingredients, milligrams, and price. In my opinion, this brand is the best value and quality offered for DIM on Amazon currently.

Headaches
So my dr suggested I try this to help with hormonal balance and estrogen support. But each night after taking I would get severe headaches. After 2-3 nights I stopped taking and after researching this can be a side effect and I was probably starting at too high a dose. So bought another product that was 100mg instead of 300mg and no headaches. So product is probably fine but maybe work up to higher doses.

Llevo un mes con DIM he tenido cambios notorios, efectivamente hay un cambio en elColor de orina, pero si te hidratas lo necesario esto no sucede. Así que en ese sentido digamos que va a la par. Recordémos que no hay pastilla mágica, se necesita constancia, equilibrar con una alimentación adecuada y sobre todo manejar los niveles de estrés. Me parece una opción muy adecuada para llevar tu acompañamiento durante tu etapa de perimenopausia y menopausia. Éxito ! Y confía. Estás ante una buena opción si agregas todo un plan de nuevos hábitos.
