Great
Great quality and packaging! I would recommend taking these WITH or IMMEDIATELY after a large meal, especially with carbs. Otherwise, they can make you extremely nauseous.

Good prenatal vitamins
I think this is a great prenatal vitamin pack. After taking them for 3 months, I got a full blood work and all the components of these vitamins had good results.I try to take them after eating a meal, and so far they have not caused or increased any nausea symptoms.I saw some comments mentioning that one of the pills might change their color or start showing some black dots, but I did not encounter that issue, and after reassuring comments and the further details given by the brand, I think I would not have mind either. I am up to my last batch and as you can see in the picture, there’s nothing odd about them.I have asked my OBGYN and the nurses I have seen during my pregnancy about these vitamins (I literally cut the component table on the box and brought it with me to my check-ups) and they all have given the all-clear. Which is reassuring because after hearing about prenatals that don’t work, or that have class actions against, I just wanted to make sure I am making the right call.

Recommended by my clinic
My doctor recommended this for IVF pregnancy. It is costly, but I found totally worth it! I love how they are individually packaged as well. When I was out of town, I just grabbed enough for the days I would be away from home and I didn’t have to carry all of them with me.

Overall a good choice
I like that these are comprehensive and I get all the recommended vitamins for early pregnancy. I do think it’s worth the price. You are basically paying $10 a month for each type of pill so it’s actually not bad. The speckled pill does smell awful and I hate taking it though it’s probably the most important one. The fish oil gives you gross fish burps. Pro tip: Take it right before bed so you don’t experience the burps. Packaging is alright. I like that they are labeled for each day of the week. I do find them hard to rip apart and open though, so that’s annoying. Overall I believe these are a good one stop shop for prenatal vitamins and I feel my baby is getting everything it needs, so I would recommend.

Definitely recommend!
taking three pills a day felt like a lot at first, it’s absolutely worth it for how complete the formula is. TheraNatal is designed based on current research and what OBs actually recommend, which gives me a lot of confidence in what I’m putting into my body. One thing I really appreciate is that it includes active folate (Quatrefolic) instead of synthetic folic acid, which is better absorbed especially for women with MTHFR gene variants. It also has the full recommended daily dose of DHA and EPA omega-3s, which are super important for baby’s brain and eye development.I’ll be honest, you might get a little bit of that fishy burp, but it’s not too bad and kind of expected with fish oil supplements.I’ve recommended this to several of my pregnant friends and they all really like it too. It just feels good knowing you’re getting everything you need in one go without having to buy a bunch of separate vitamins.

Huge tablets that are difficult to swallow
These tablets are MASSIVE. I don’t have a sensitive gag reflex, but every time I take these, even between bites while eating to try to trick my reflex into not gagging, I still gag and choke on them. They are the epitome of the proverbial “horse pill.” If they were half the size they are, they would be much easier to swallow. Also the packaging is incredibly difficult and frustrating to open; when trying to peel off the paper and foil cover, it gets stuck firmly at the second pill and WILL NOT peel the rest of the way off, so I have to use a knife to puncture the foil and accidentally punctured the fish oil supplement once while trying to do this. These supplements contributed to my nausea in general. For anyone struggling with morning sickness, these will make it worse. If the company could improve these 2 things (size of the tablets and packaging difficulties) it’s a quality prenatal. Just extremely difficult to open and swallow so I stopped using it and switched to another brand.

Good prenatal horrible packaging
Seemed to be the best well rounded prenatal from my research, however the packaging is horrible. Very difficult to get the pills out and sometimes the fish oil pill bursts while trying to get it out of the packaging because it sticks to the plastic. Inconvenient.

Easy, convenient and helps my hair
I’ve been taking these vitamins for a year and a half now, during my pregnancy and postpartum period. I particularly appreciate that the package has the days of the week written on it, which makes it incredibly convenient for travel. Additionally, I prefer these vitamins over capsules because I believe they’re gentler on the liver. I’ve noticed that my hair has finally grown longer since I started taking these vitamins. It’s been 15 years since my hair was this long!
