Great product, easy to use, holds a lot
This menstrual cup is great for people just starting out. The box specifically said for 18 to under 25 year olds, I am neither. So, keeping that in mind I have a few things.It is quite large, and may be too big for someone so young, but everyone’s body is different. It had a good fit and a good seal.I have a heavy flow in the first few days and this was able to handle it just fine. You need to wear a pa type liner or pad still which I didn’t like, I feel like I got more leaking with this than a tampon. Eventually it just wasn’t worth it to me.It was easy to take out, clean and reinsert.Once you get the hang of how to put them in you will like the. A lot more.I gave it 4 stars because it is a great product and it ks good quality, it has a little loop to grab to take out. But they are not for me. I still would recommend bassed off the fact that they are great for some and people love them. I personally dont like the process of cleaning up though it is easy.

I was glad this was made from medical grade silicone. Some are made from plastic or rubber, which I would not want inside my body. It’s very soft and easy to bend, yet it feels like it would be sturdy enough to open and create a seal and collect blood within the body, without allowing leaks. The problem is that no matter how I bent it, I could not get it inside me. I tried to insert it in the tub, and I even tried making a pointy end when I folded it, but no matter how you fold it, it unfolds the minute you let go, so even if you have partially inserted it, then you can’t get the entire opening into your body.I got the large because I am currently going through perimenopause. In fact, one reason I got this is because my periods had become so unpredictable that I wanted something to just keep on hand, in case I had no tampons when my period began. I also typically use the largest sized tampons I can find – super plus. I have never had difficulty with those. I only docked a star because I thought the product page should be more clear about how to find the exact right size to use. However, this is a high quality period cup if you can find the correct size that fits correctly, and it comes with a very cute pink satin bag to keep it in. It’s good for the environment.
