It’s actually two separate supplements
So I didn’t realize when I ordered this that it’s two separate supplements in one package. There is a prenatal vitamin and a separate iron supplement. Not that this makes a big difference, but it wasn’t what I expected. The box has some good information, however there is also an insert in the box that has more information on the various vitamins included in the prenatal and what they do in the body. The supplements are time delay released, so they are gentler on your system as well. They are a bit on the large size, but I haven’t had a problem swallowing them. This is the second Active Iron supplement I’ve ordered, the first was an iron and vitamin D supplement for kids. I’ve been overall impressed with the brand!

so far I’m liking these
For the most part when I compared these to my current prenatal vitamins, they held the same ingredients. However, these I did notice contain selenium and all of my others did not. It’s not a dealbreaker for me because after some research selenium is something we do need.I do like that these come in 2 different packages. I have a sensitive stomach and sometimes it doesn’t handle iron all that well. So far, I haven’t had too much trouble with these, but I like having the option to skip a pill if needed while still receiving the benefits of the other. The iron pill is pretty standard size to me. I’ve taken vitamins bigger than that, so it wasn’t a problem for me. Overall, I’m fairly happy with these so far.

Two pills, one package
I am not pregnant, nor do I intend to become pregnant. However, prenatal vitamins are a really great way to get some additional vitamins that help with my hair, skin and nails. I am also anemic so I was hoping that this iron was more gentle than the iron pills I have tried from the store. Unfortunately, they still upset my stomach so I am back on infusions. I am very grateful that they are separate pills and I can continue taking the prenatal and not worry about the iron.

Good Idea for Those Looking to Conceive
I got these for my wife. She’s very happy with them. No issues with taste or side effects such as upset stomach. No constipation issues as yet, but I’ll be back if that develops after a longer period. She tends to run low on iron and we’ve been trying to conceive so these were a perfect fit. The pills are somewhat smaller than the iron pills she formerly used, and include a full host of other micronutrients. Nice!
