my most cherished yoga mat among the several I own and use
This is my most cherished yoga mat among the several I own and use.A yoga mat made of natural rubber provides stability and comfort during daily yoga practice, creating a pleasant environment where I can focus solely on my training. I highly recommend it to those who practice regularly in their daily lives. Its non-slip feature, appropriate thickness, and firm, solid construction are its defining characteristics — maintaining consistent quality even after long-term use, making it a faithful companion for peaceful yoga practice.I purchased an additional one for my daughter who is majoring in dance, and I am truly happy to have recommended it to acquaintances and received feedback that everyone is satisfied and enjoying it.

Best mat for hot yoga
Best mat I’ve ever used! Great for hot yoga. There’s no need for a towel and absolutely no slippage. It’s durable, functional and easy to clean. The size is perfect. Highly recommend.

Quality mat for hot yogi’s sweaty conditions great grip and lightweight for travel
So I tried many yoga mats I’ve tried other menduca mats as well they are great but there are sometimes heavy and can be slippery and hot yoga. This one is a great combination It’s lightweight so can serve as a decent travel mat yet it functions great with the heat The surface they’ve come up with is great with sweat and without sweat has a really nice grip, I tend to throw this one over another older mat for additional padding if I’m doing a lot of back rolling. I think this is my new favorite Mat out of the many that I own.

OH WOW!!!!
OMG I would give more than 5 stars if I could! I’ve been doing yoga for 25+ years, and I wish I had known about these mats sooner. This mat is sticky, so I don’t slide around. That sounds great, right? BUT, because I’m not sliding around, I have better balance, I can hold poses deeper and longer, and I can focus on the appropriate muscles. THIS IS CRAZY but it has completely changed my yoga practice!!! After the first use, I could tell I had done a much more amazing workout. Also, as a 50+ woman, this mat supports and helps my feet and ankles feel less stressed during yoga practice. I can’t recommend this mat highly enough. Yes, it is pretty pricey, but it’s the perfect size, cleans up well, and is perfect in my book. BUY ONE NOW

Problems with Amazon stock but mat itself is great
This review as much to current Amazon stock issues for this mat as the mat itself. I ordered this mat twice as a gift, and both times received a brand new, unopened Manduka eKo Superlite yoga mat instead. While this is likely a very nice travel mat, it is not what I ordered. I returned both mats and sent the intended recipient the funds to purchase the mat elsewhere instead.I am told that the mat is just as described, with good thickness and weight. The black marbled mat is attractive. It has a good grip from the start, a cushiony and satiny feel, and is easy to use when cleaning, rolling, and storing. There was a mild rubbery smell at first noticeable only at very short distance from the mat, which dissipates over time. It feels durable and sturdy, and sticks where it is put without difficulty when it comes time to move it. It does squeak periodically during use and developed streaks in the first few days of ordinary use from yoga blocks running across the surface. Neither of these issues diminish enjoyment of the mat, but it is good to know if they will bother you.

Non slip for hot classes!
I’ve been doing hot fitness classes for over a year. 5x a wk in the hot room is tough on mats. I started with a super cheap mat with a cover…. bc the sweat. The sweat is crazy and planks can be super difficult when sliding or even down dog. I was tired of constantly doing laundry to keep my 2 mat towels clean. I then treated myself to a cork mat. It was excellent for 3ish months. It said it didn’t require cleaning, but it did. I would clean with essential oil & water.bi always unroll my mat and let them dry after class. I started slipping on the cork. So I pulled the trigger and spent all my dollar bills on this mat. Absolutely worth them dollars! Love the cushion, even tho that’s not what I was looking for. It’s def non slip. I feel like a beast using this mat. Haha. It’s not sticky or anything weird. Just solid grip so u don’t have to hold back in class. Rolls up nice, great cushion, non slip and I love the color I chose. It is heavier than my other mats, but nothing horrible. I also purchased the mat cleaner to use. If you’re contemplating the investment and do hot classes, u won’t be disappointed. I’m sure non heated classes would enjoy, but it’s def a “needed” purchase for the hot room.

I didn’t quite expect that a mat could be this good. I got wet hands easily while exercising, and used to have yoga towel for my mat. Honestly I regret not buying it earlier and tried a lot before. What I Wonder is that the sweatier my hands are, the better the grip is… Even with socks…
