Great product but don’t believe everything they claim
I’ve lost 15 lbs in about 2 months BUT, I have one shake/day and for the other meals either vegetables or egg whites or tuna. I like the Almased because (1)it keeps my focus on losing weight, (2) it is easy to prepare, (3) it gives me all the nutrients I need while eating so few calories so I feel good, (4) my hair is thicker and healthier and fingernails are stronger. I do not believe that I could drink Almased for a meal and eat whatever I want for other meals and still lose weight. But, it is an effective tool with an otherwise healthy diet.I tried 2 shakes/day and got depressed, so I dropped down to 1/day and felt better. I have not been exercising but am not sedentary.Almased does not taste great. I put a cup of frozen berries in a Ninja, about a cup of water, 1/2 single serve packet of lemonade mix (True Lemon) and the Almased. Pulse 2 or 3 times and it is a bowl or a shake. That way it is enjoyable and feels more like a meal without adding many calories.It seems a bit expensive but at $4/meal, it isn’t bad. What would you pay to lose weight??So, while I do not believe all the claims Almased makes, it does give the nutrients needed to reduce calories and still stay healthy and give a boost to hair and nails in the process. When I lose 15 more lbs, I’ll probably continue the Almased for the nutrition value and add in more daily calories.

Good product
The product is good. Not sure if it’s something that I would do for a long period of time. I feel energetic when I do take it. In fact, when I had blood work done, it actually seemed to have lowered my cholesterol. Unlike the other protein shakes I’ve had, it did leave a sour milk taste in my mouth. As soon as I drank it, I would run to the bathroom and brush my teeth. 😂

Terrible taste!
Terrible taste! Trying to get two meals a day down – have used a blender and blackberries to help the taste, but so far, its still pretty bad! Had hoped the taste would have been better; really need to use for three meals a day, but I just can’t handle the taste. My energy level is OK and it is filling, but as far as effectiveness is concerned, need to wait for a few more weeks. It’s fairly expensive, if you plan on replacing most of your meals with this plant based protein powder – could cost you quite a bundle!

Amazing product
Started the detox 052025 with the prescribed 3 shakes a day for 3 days. Let me tell you I’m a cancer patient and I haven’t been able to have a full nights sleep in several years and I have lacked energy for the same amount of time. I began the detox and I never experienced any hungry pains or cravings throughout the day, I was full of energy and I have finally been able to sleep through the night. The taste is unusual but with a few berries and a shot of juice it’s not bad. I highly recommend this product. I feel better then I have in years and plan to continue using. The price is not bad considering you are replacing meals. 1 can at 3 shakes a day for 3 days for $34 is great when a good lunch would cost $40 or more.. oh and I dropped 8lbs the first 2 days. I’ll post an update when I complete the program.Shipping was fast and my product arrived damaged free!!!

It Works, but With a lot of Doctoring.
This is not an easy “shake”to love until you see the results. I doctor mine with the addition of a scoop chocolate appetite control powder, instant coffee crystals, chia seeds, flax seeds, a handful of raw kale and spinach. I crunch it all up with ice and water. I generally have 2 a day. I’ve lost 8 lbs of water weight over a month and a half. Meh.The results have been in inches. My security camera caught me as I was leaving for work this morning. I hate those pictures because the details really show the fat. I stopped the playback and the thought of “who’s that?” popped in my mind. The regimine I’m on, supplemented with apples, is taking off INCHES. Sure, my clothes are looser, but you don’t grasp it until you see it.The end result is this formula does work, but must doctor it to make it palatable. My recipe, coupled with the apples, is an appetite suppressor monster machine. The unfortunate angle is if I stop, I’ll gain it all back. It’s a double edged sword with one end much sharper.As with all weight loss wonder powders, this works, but in the end, it’s another tool to help in the process.

I recommend it if you want to improve how you feel.
Overall, I love this product because it actually seems to be working. I will say the taste is not the greatest. I add extra vanilla flavoring and three packets of Splenda and that helps a lot. It’s pretty chalky. But I love the way it’s making me feel because I definitely can tell that it’s working.

Great for energy, detox, metabolism management, hunger control, detox, weight loss…
I’ve only used it as a meal substitute and one meal a day but yet haven’t kept up consistently for more than 5 days in a row. However just adding it has helped with metabolism weight control, detox. When I did it more consistent I noticed clearer mind, more energy, better gut function, better sleep. I can’t imagine how much good it will do to fully do the plan. Easy to drink and mix, taste is ok. I can drink a standard 8 tablespoon shake for breakfast and don’t get hungry till after noon (aka very filling).
