A Good Calcium Supplement
This VIVI Youth Calcium supplement is a well-rounded product. Besides calcium it includes several key synergistic cofactors for better effectiveness such as vitamins D3, K2-MK7 and B12. The bottle came with the protection seals intact. The capsules were clean with no spilled powder on them. They have no odor and are easy to swallow. I am impressed by their product labeling which clearly indicates how much elemental calcium we get in each serving instead of just mentioning the total weight of the compound. I have not encountered any stomach or other side effects while taking them.

I have been taking a calcium supplement for a number of years now. I like this brand so I thought I would give this version a chance.This product is advertised as calcium for women. It includes not only calcium, but vitamin D3, vitamin K2, and vitamin B12 as well. The bottle contains 120 vegan capsules with a serving suggestion of two capsules 1 to 3 times daily. A manufacturing lot number and expiration date are clearly indicated on the bottle itself. Not knowing exactly when this product was manufactured, it’s hard to know what the shelflife actually is. However, for reference, it is currently 2026 in this product’s expiration date is 2029.It’s important that you know how to read supplement labels with this one. The front of the bottle clearly states 1200 mg of calcium citrate. It’s even highlighted. However, the back of the bottle says, “calcium from calcium citrate 1200 mg, calcium carbonate 150 mg.” The amount per serving (2 capsules), however, is 300 mg. The first two numbers referred to the total weight of the chemical compounds whereas the 300 mg in the nutrition information table refers to the amount of calcium your body can actually absorb. This kind of labeling can be very confusing.Regarding the capsules, they are essentially odorless and flavorless. The size of the capsule is typical, which makes it easy to swallow. If you are using just the one suggested serving of two capsules daily, this gives you a 60 day supply. Obviously, if you take more than one serving daily, you may end up with only a 30 day supply or less.As with most of the Vivi Youth products, you can expect high-quality. This one is good manufacturing practices certified, third-party lab tested, gluten-free, and non-GMO.

Love that they included Vitamin D and Vitamin K2 with this!
I love that this Calcium supplement formula includes Vitamins D and K2. You need enough Vitamin D for your body to be able to absorb and use Calcium effectively, and the Vitamin K2 activates the protein osteocalcin which binds calcium to your bones and teeth. I’ve always purchased these separately to go with my calcium supplement, so I was very happy to find this supplement with everything included: so convenient! The capsules are easy to swallow, and you get 60 servings of a bioavailable calcium supplement. I haven’t noticed any tummy upset or weird burps.I’m in my 40s so my bones are something I think about lately. The vitamin B12 is a nice addition, and I make sure to take this supplement with my daily multivitamin which has the whole spectrum of B vitamins in it – B Vitamins work best when you take the whole B Spectrum together. These are great!

Excellent formulation of calcium
As with all supplements, you have to decide whether the ingredients are right for you. I take calcium regularly, so this formulation with D3 and K2 (and B1 on top of it) really caught my attention, as I’ve read that D3 and K2 help with calcium absorption.The bottle comes fully sealed, inside and out; great quality packaging. What I really liked is that the pills are gel caps; they are smaller than typical calcium pills and are much easier to swallow. Serving size is also not bad – only two caps per day, so you get about a two-months supply. There is no scent, taste, or aftertaste, though one of my caps was broken inside, so all the pills are covered in white powder. But it’s a minor inconvenience.I can’t tell whether there are any effects – with macrominerals, this is not something you see immediately. But if you trust the combination of ingredients – in my opinion, it’s excellent – then this product is great.A bit on the pricier side, if it were just calcium. However, with added benefits of D3 and K2, you get a lot more value for your money than you would just getting calcium alone. So to me, the price is worth it.
